What it Takes to Create The Ramble

Parsons School of Design M.Arch Year 1

What it Takes to Create The Ramble is an illustrated representation of the global, regional, architectural, and molecular impact of a single Central Park Settee bench located in one Central Park’s most visited areas. The collection of drawings critique production cycles within the built environment: from lumber extraction and strip mining in South America, to the pollution inherent in the creation of cast iron frames, to the molecular degradation of the materials over time.
